Casteldimezzo Pesaro (PU)

Casteldimezzo is a tiny medieval village built during the eleventh century on a promontory of the Natural Park Del Monte San Bartolo, on a cliff, about 200 meters above sea level. Located between the marina Vallugola Bay and Fiorenzuola di Focara, still it has the remains of the city walls. The fortress, which was destroyed in the last century, was located about where the restaurant is located, as evidenced by a seventeenth century watercolor of Mingucci which can be admired in a nice play inside.
